Thanks to the generosity of the Family of F. Thomas Mueller, The New Jersey Police Chief’s Foundation is proud to announce the creation of The New Jersey Chiefs of Police-F. Thomas Mueller Scholarship Program. This scholarship program has been established to honor F. Thomas Mueller, former member of the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.  The Foundation will offer scholarships to any child, or direct descendant, of any law enforcement officer (Local, State or Federal) who lost their life in the line of duty.

This scholarship is open to any graduating High School student at an accredited college, university or vocational program within the upcoming school year. It is also open to anyone currently enrolled in a college program. Applicants will be judged on scholastic achievement and extracurricular activities that include community service.
